Local musicians throughout Northwest Ohio are lending their voices to support the American Red Cross through the sale of an original benefit CD – “Red, White & You”. “Red, White, and You” is full of 23 fun summer hits – 12 that have never been commercially available before now. Many talented musicians contributed to this album including the one and only, Alyson Stoner. I’m so excited to hear Alyson’s song. Stay tuned for more info!

Proceeds from the CD benefit the programs and services of American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio. The CD costs $10 and can be bought at Frisch’s Big Boy, Ralphie’s and KeyBank locations, beginning June 20.

Great news! Alyson is heading back to Australia to choreograph for the GLEEClub StraightEdge and GLEEClub Juniors in the Australian Institute for Performing Arts (AIPA). GLEEClub Straightedge is a project designed for performers (12-20yrs) who live to perform. Singers, dancers and triple threats will love this project as they grow and thrive, working through the curriculum in a positive, supportive and professional environment.

REHEARSALS/ DATES: The group will leave Sydney on the 1st December and return to Australia on the 19th December. The rehearsals for the project are Sat 6th–Sat 13th July, 2013. (Residential) and Thurs 28th–Sat 30th November, 2013.

Disney Channel is set to air the crossover episode of the animated series “Phineas and Ferb” with characters from Marvel titled, “Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel.” Dr. Doofenshmirtz creates an invention that accidentally de-powers Iron Man, the Hulk, Spider-Man and Thor. The powerless heroes travel to Danville to get Phineas and Ferb to help them stop MODOK, the Red Skull, Whiplash and Venom who have teamed up with Dr. Doofenshmirtz to destroy the city. No exact date has been set, but the movie will be out this SUMMER on DISNEY CHANNEL.

It was just announced that Alyson will be joining the Young Actors Film Experience workshop in Atlanta, Georgia on May 11-12th. Their mission is to educate and inspire young minds as they journey through the Hollywood and other leading film and television acting industries. Exciting news! Alyson has just landed a role in a new and upcoming movie called “HOOVEY“. Hoovey is the title of a movie inspired by a true story about Eric Elliott’s (Cody Linely) recovery from a brain tumor, beating all odds to play college basketball. The movie is based on the book, “Rebounding From Death’s Door“, written by Jeff Elliott. There isn’t much news about it yet, but Alyson will be playing the role of Jen Donhardt. For this role, Alyson went back to her natural hair color – Brown! Which look do you like best?
